Anaheim Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast
10.21.19
People of all faiths are invited to an inspiring morning at the annual Anaheim Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on Wed. Oct. 23 from 7-10 a.m. where business partners, local leaders, and Anaheim neighbors gather in the spirit of unity, contemplation, and collaboration.
This year’s keynote speaker is Andrew Puzder, former CEO of Carl Karcher Enterprises. During his tenure, he helped turn Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. into fast-food powerhouses. He continues to draw upon his working-class Catholic upbringing and seeks to live devoutly in all aspects of his life. Puzder is a frequent lecturer on economics and politics for various groups and associations as well as at colleges and universities. He is also director at The Job Creators Network and on the Advisory Board at Prager University.
Performing will be special musical guest, Influence Music, a faith-based record label and artist collective from Influence Church in Anaheim Hills. Influence Music’s debut album “Touching Heaven” became a breakout success reaching Billboard #2 on the Christian album charts, #7 on the emerging artist chart and was the #1 album on iTunes. Influence Music is composed of Matt Gilman, Melody Noel, Michael Ketterer, and Whitney Medina. Ketterer captured the heart of America as a finalist on “America’s Got Talent” with more than 60 million views on his audition for Simon Cowell. Their most recent project, “REBELS,” is an album and companion short film that breaks new ground both sonically and visually.
