Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce presents the 41st annual Corona del Mar Christmas Walk on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., it’s the community’s most popular event of the year! Each year “The Walk” brings together thousands of fun-loving people into the Village of Corona del Mar for live entertainment, food, prizes and games in true holiday spirit!.
Festivities include: Corona del Mar merchants will offer promotions throughout Corona del Mar’s business district. There will be live entertainment with over 12 signature bands in strategic locations. The popular Fireman’s Grill BBQ provided by the NB Fire Department. Enjoy restaurant tastings and celebration parties. And for the kids, there’s entertainment including snapshots with Santa Clause, bouncy houses, bungee jumping, holiday characters, a petting zoo and more.
There will be unique vendor exhibits in the popular vendor fair at the center stage. Beer & Wine Garden located in Bandera’s Lower Parking Lot with the Signature band “Pinch Me”. ($10 Entry / $5 Beer/Wine/Champagne). And, the famous opportunity drawing with over $15,000 worth of prizes. And, lastly performances by High School and community organizations.

Celtic Christmas: “Outlander” & “Titanic” Piper Eric Rigler & Dirk Freymuth

Back by popular demand! From the Titanic film score to the heart-meltingly romantic theme to the current TV series Outlander, musician Eric Rigler will perform at the Soka Performing Arts Center Concert Hall on Sunday, December 8 at 3 p.m.
He’s proved himself to be “the world’s most recorded piper.” His soundscape of Celtic spirit, passion and energy can be heard in other films Braveheart and Austin Powers and on the TV series The Simpsons and South Park, and on recordings by Josh Groban, Faith Hill and Phil Collins., Eric Rigler will be joined by longtime musical partner Dirk Freymuth to celebrate A Celtic Christmas in an afternoon performance that draws from haunting Irish airs and Scottish melodies, blazing jigs and reels, and traditional Christmas music.
