ANQI PREPARES 400 PANTRY BOXES FOr RESTAURANT EMPLOYEES

04.24.20

AnQi by House of AN at South Coast Plaza is inviting fellow workers in the food and beverage industry affected by COVID-19 to pick-up a large box of pantry essentials and fresh food to help them get through these troubled times on Monday, April 27 from 12-5 p.m.

400 boxes will be distributed starting at noon until they run out. To receive a box, a current or recent paystub must be presented showing employment in the food & beverage industry.

Social distancing will be observed and facial masks are required by the City of Costa Mesa.

The giveaway began Monday, April 20, when more than 400 boxes were distributed to restaurant employees at the An’s Beverly Hills restaurant, Crustacean. The donation is made possible by a GoFundMe campaign initiated by the Ans. South Coast Plaza and Elizabeth Segerstrom, co-managing partner of South Coast Plaza, are among sponsors of the boxes that will be distributed on April 27.

The box contains staples such as flour, rice, sugar, couscous, pasta, sugar, canned tomatoes and corn, tortillas, pita bread, a baguette, bottled water, toilet paper and fresh produce.  Contents may vary. Melissa’s Produce has donated product to the boxes.

AnQi is at South Coast Plaza, 3333 Bristol St. Costa Mesa (by Bloomingdale’s).
