Anthropologie: Animal Themed Art Installation at Fashion Island for a Cause
12.07.20
Anthropologie unveiled a fantastical animal-themed art installation outside of its Fashion Island store to benefit the International Child Art Foundation (ICAF).
Through December 8, Anthropologie will donate $5 for each Instagram and Twitter post picturing the animal-themed artwork at Fashion Island and tagged #BePresentWithAnthro. The vignette features a zebra and 14ft tall giraffe, both outfitted in pink cold-weather accessories. Sculpted by artists in paper mache and handpainted, the animals were made and transported from Los Angeles.
Anthropologie’s national #BePresentWithAnthro campaign promotes the ICAF’s dedication to developing children’s creativity and growing mutual empathy. The brand recognizes the ICAF’s important role in mitigating the impact of COVID-19 on the arts and cultural sector. In addition, Anthropologie understands the power of art to bring much-needed joy and connection to people’s lives, especially in this challenging environment.
Anthropologie’s holiday theme, This Present Moment, inspired the #BePresentWithAnthro campaign. Renowned for creativity and the unique practice of staffing each store with resident artists, Anthropologie transformed the windows of their more than 200 locations into pure fantasy. In the brand’s whimsical world, hand-sculpted and painted animals of every possible description deliver gifts and put smiles on the faces of passersby.
The installation will be on view at Fashion Island through December 15. To learn more about the ICAF and the #BePresentWithAnthro campaign please visit anthropologie.com/bepresent.

Spa Gregorie’s Turkey Toss – a fun and innovative charity event
12.06.20
You’ve heard of charity auctions, bake sales, car washes, but have you ever heard of a Turkey Toss? Well, Spa Gregorie’s is hosting their first-ever Turkey Toss for charity this year! They know this is a tough year for so many families so they are ‘Tossing Turkeys’ to fund turkeys for Bracken’s Kitchen, a local nonprofit that serves over 35,000 meals a week to needy families.
The Turkey Toss is a turkey/holiday-themed Cornhole game that will be played on Wednesday, December 9 and broadcast live via Facebook Live. Their key vendors (Epicuren, Eminence, Arcona, and Babor) have all committed to 60 turkeys and Spa Gregorie’s will match that depending on how many turkeys the local community ‘buys’ and how many successful cornhole tosses we make. Clients and skincare enthusiasts are encouraged to take part and “buy” a turkey for tossing at tossaturkey
