THE NOTEBOOK Musical Set for Segerstrom Hall in 2026
01.17.26
Producers Kevin McCollum and Kurt Deutsch, along with Segerstrom Center for the Arts, have announced that THE NOTEBOOK, a new musical based on the best-selling novel that inspired the iconic film, will play Segerstrom Hall from Jan. 27 to Feb. 8, 2026. The production is part of the 2025-26 Broadway Season and brings the beloved love story to Costa Mesa audiences.
“THE NOTEBOOK is ultimately a celebration of life, love, and the power of memory,” said producers Kevin McCollum and Kurt Deutsch. “Audiences first fell in love with this timeless story as a novel, then as an iconic film, and now they can experience it anew as a moving musical event. With multi-platinum artist Ingrid Michaelson’s unforgettable score and Tony Award nominated Bekah Brunstetter’s beautifully crafted book, THE NOTEBOOK comes to life on stage in a way that will resonate deeply with audiences across North America.”
The story follows Allie and Noah, two people from different worlds who share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. Described as “Full of butterfly-inducing highs and beautiful songs” by Entertainment Weekly, THE NOTEBOOK is a deeply moving portrait of the enduring power of love.
Based on a novel that has sold millions of copies worldwide and a film that remains one of the highest-grossing romantic dramas of all time, the musical adaptation played on Broadway at the Schoenfeld Theatre from March 2024 through December 2024. The production followed a critically acclaimed world premiere at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in fall 2022.
Tickets for THE NOTEBOOK, starting at $39, are available for purchase online at scfta.org, in person at 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, and by phone at 714.556.2787. For inquiries about group ticket discounts of 10 or more, call the Group Services offices at 714.755.0236.
