You are invited to Planet Beauty’s annual holiday charity event to benefit Children’s Hospital of Orange County on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Planet Beauty Newport on Jamboree Road.
Planet Beauty has teamed up with Peter Thomas Roth Skin Care for an evening of free mini services from top vendors, $6k in raffle prizes, free gift bags, delicious bites and sweets, along with music and libations. CHOC Children’s will receive 20% of all purchases.

Delphine Berryhill, Creator Butterfli Me Makeup Studio

Our latest spotlight on Orange County entrepreneurs is with Delphine Berryhill, creator of Butterfli Me Makeup Studio in Irvine. She just answered our 20Q’s and she’s a one-woman powerhouse—her Butterfli Me Makeup Studio is the product of her own personal metamorphosis from talented makeup artist, to business visionary, delivering cosmetic empowerment to women seeking personal transformation.
Berryhill has worked as a makeup artist for top makeup brands, she started a successful mobile makeup service called About Face, and even had her own marketing and advertising agency.
More recently, she lamented with friends that they needed a place for a quick makeup touch up to accommodate their hectic schedules and demanding corporate careers. All agreed that they would use a service like this at least two or three times a week.
That’s when the idea for Butterfli Me Makeup Studio began crystalizing. She reflected on the obstacles that her customers faced at the makeup counter—too many products and lacking the know how to use them--and she set out to create an experience where women would get the service that they truly deserved and desired.
Her solution, Butterfli Me Makeup Studio, now offers quick, affordable makeup application as well as instruction with a custom line of high quality cosmetics, aptly named Delphine. The Butterfli Me Makeup Studio concept aims to streamline the makeup application process with its mobile app and Look Book, offering five classic, glamorous looks for women to choose from.
With her first location in Orange County, Berryhill has set out to transform the makeup industry and turn Butterfli Me Makeup Studio into a phenomenon. The next location will open later this year in Los Angeles and a promising franchising plan is in the works that includes a future in airports, hotel chains and sports clubs.
Delphine lives in Laguna Beach with her husband, Clay. She enjoys cooking, gardening and traveling to visit her two sons who are away at college.
