The Spring Showcase will host opening and closing events, red carpet screenings, compelling Q&As with filmmakers and a film retrospective commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon.
The special features in this year's Spring Showcase include:
Opening Night - IN FOOTBALL WE TRUST, the California premiere of the hit Sundance documentary that follows four young Polynesian NFL hopefuls using football as a way out of poverty and gang violence.
Closing Night - TOP SPIN, an inspiring documentary that features three teenagers who are among the highest ranked table tennis players in the nation.
A key feature of this year’s Spring Showcase is, Cinema Little Saigon, a traveling film retrospective commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon. Curated by Pac-Arts, the compelling retrospective will highlight films spanning from the 1990s to today.
