From Spectrum to Screen Aufest at AMC Orange

The first annual AutFest International Film Festival, presented by The Autism Society, will take place Saturday, April 22 - Sunday, April 23 at AMC Orange 30 in Orange, CA. It will screen nine feature-length films and six shorts that that promote autism awareness and/or are made by filmmakers with autism.

In addition, AutFest will honor and feature Q&As with The Accountant’s Ben Affleck and the filmmakers behind Inside Out, Pixar Animation Studios Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera. Awards will be presented to Affleck and filmmakers at the festival’s closing reception on Sunday, April 23 at Café Tu Tu Tango. The schedule and full list of films can be viewed at autfestasa.com.

Cheap Trick benefit Concert at House of Blues

You can join a benefit concert featuring Cheap Trick on Thursday, April 20 at House of Blues Anaheim. The Encore for Education is a charity concert underwritten by generous sponsors from the real estate industry to support Buchanan Children’s Charities and the OC Community Foundation and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) OC. Additionally proceeds from the concert will benefit Music Matters, a program created in partnership with the Orange County Community Foundation to bring music programs back to Orange County schools.

VIP Reception begins at 7 p.m. General admission doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range in price from $150 to $300. Tickets are available here.
