Walk on the Wild Side with the ENC at Room & Board

You're invited to join the Environmental Nature Center (ENC) at Room & Board SOCO on Sunday, August 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a day of family fun! Guests of all ages will love meeting live animals while enjoying sips and snacks and a traveling naturalist from ENC will lead the group with interactive games, story time and a fun sing-along. This event is free and open to the public. 

Room & Board at SOCO is at 3309 Hyland Ave. in Costa Mesa.

Marvel’s Inhumans and IMAX to Host National Dog Day Event with Bulldog Rescues

If you're considering adopting a bulldog, now is the time! In celebration of National Dog Day on Saturday, August 26 from 1 to 5 p.m., IMAX and “Marvel’s Inhumans” are partnering with SoCal Bulldog Rescue and Bulldog Club of America to celebrate National Dog Day with a Meet the Breed event in front of the Edwards Irvine Spectrum 21 IMAX.

Not only will you be able to play with their adorable bulldogs and hopefully start the process to take home your own loyal and royal companion, but you will also have the chance to take photos with the GIANT Lockjaw.

You can also take advantage of an exclusive ticket offering through Atom Tickets with a one-day only event offering $5 off your order of 2 tickets – to bring your human best friend! - to experience the first chapter of “Marvel’s Inhumans” on the big screen.

The first two episodes of Marvel Television’s new series “Marvel’s Inhumans”–filmed entirely with IMAX digital cameras–will screen worldwide exclusively in IMAX for two weeks beginning September 1, 2017. ABC will then air the entirety of the series, including additional exclusive content, starting on Sept. 29.
