Father’s Day is just around the corner on Sunday, June 17 and we have some exciting offerings from local restaurants in Orange County.
THE BLIND PIG KITCHEN + BAR:
Treat Dad to delicious American cuisine at The Blind Pig Kitchen + Bar in Rancho Santa Margarita this Father’s Day. Guests can enjoy Father’s Day on the lakefront patio with specials such as the Herb Crusted Prime Rib served with mashed potatoes and grilled broccolini, which pairs perfectly with a choice of a high-end whiskey flight (Scotch, Bourbon or Rye); and the Fried Trout Pan served with braised Swiss chard, lardons and roasted fingerling potatoes, paired with the choice of a spirit forward or beer cocktail like the White Martinez made with Old Tom Gin, blanc vermouth, luxardo maraschino and orange bitters or the Hops of Wrath made with Bourbon, housemade lemon cordial, yuzu, and IPA. The Blind Pig Kitchen + Bar will open on Father’s Day at 11 am, and is located at 31431 Santa Margarita Pkwy in Rancho Santa Margarita.
OGGI’S SPORTS | BREWHOUSE | PIZZA
Celebrate Dad at Oggi’s Sports | Brewhouse | Pizza, the concept that has defined craft brewing, fresh pizza, and brewpub favorites in a sports-themed atmosphere for the past 26 years. While supplies last, all Oggi’s locations will be giving out a Father’s Day pint glasses with the purchase of an Oggi’s beer. Guests can enjoy popular menu items such as the World Series a speciality pizza made with special BBQ sauce, all-natural chicken breast, and gouda cheese topped with red onions and fresh cilantro, and the Texas Burger made with BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, crispy homemade onion strings, melted cheddar, spring mix blend, and tomato. Complete the meal with Oggi’s award-winning craft beers such as the California Blonde and the McGarvey’s Scottish Ale.
CHA CHA’S LATIN KITCHEN:
Celebrate Father’s Day with live Latin music and bottomless mimosas at Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen. The restaurant is offering a special two-course brunch for $24, with the option to add bottomless mimosas for $10. Guests can enjoy popular entrees such as the Braised Short Rib Chilaquiles made with tortilla chips, guajillo, chorizo salsa, roasted mushrooms, sunny side eggs, crema fresca, cotija and radish; and Huevos Rancheros served with two farm-fresh eggs, layered on top of corn tortillas and black beans topped with guajillo chili and tomatillo sauces. Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen will open at 11 am on Father’s Day and is located at 110 W Birch St #7 in Brea and 13126 Jamboree Rd, Irvine.
WAYS & MEANS OYSTER HOUSE
Celebrate Dad at Ways & Means Oyster House with a delicious seafood brunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Located inside the luxury shopping and dining center, Pacific City, Ways & Means offers sweet and savory brunch specials, ocean views, bottomless mimosas and the popular W&M Bloody Mary, made with jumbo shrimp, brown sugar-chili bacon, olives, onions, and celery. Food specials include Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Jumbo Lump Crab Huevos Rancheros, and Chorizo & Egg Tacos. Father’s Day brunch will be offered from 10:00am-3:00 pm, and kids under 12-years-old eat for free, with each paid adult. Ways & Means Oyster House is located at 21022 Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach.
COASTAL KITCHEN:
Coastal Kitchen's relaxed Southern California vibe is reflected in their clean decor and from-scratch menu. This Father’s Day, the Dana Point restaurant will be offering both their signature lunch & dinner menu with dishes Dad will love, such as the Baby Back BBQ Ribs made with true Danish ribs, house-made BBQ sauce, and red cabbage slaw; and the Cuban Sandwich made with slow roasted pork shoulder, black forest ham, muenster, swiss, and pickle planks. Complete the meal with a wide selection of hand-crafted cocktails including the signature Bloody Mary. Coastal Kitchen’s family-friendly environment is perfect for families looking to treat dad on his special day, and is located at 34091 Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point.
BRUNO'S ITALIAN KITCHEN:
Treat dad to an Italian dinner at Bruno's Italian Kitchen for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 17th. Guests can enjoy popular dishes that Dad will surely love, such as the Spaghetti & Meatballs made with Nonna Maria’s meatballs, tomato & fresh herb sauce, fresh basil, and Parmigiano; and the Pork Shank made with slow braised Duroc shank, garlicky spinach, polenta & fontina, thyme jus, and salsa verde. Bruno's Italian Kitchen is located at 210 W Birch St. in Brea.
