Foodie Destination Vacation? The “Cayman Cookout”

Looking for a vacation destination centered around fine food and spirts in the New Year? The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is taking bookings for the next highly anticipated Cayman Cookout, taking place from January 16-21, 2019. The 11th annual iteration of this globally recognized elite celebration of fine food and spirits served amidst picturesque Caribbean backdrops will see host, Chef Eric Ripert joined by an impressive roster of culinary stars, including José Andrés, Andrew Zimmern, Emeril Lagasse, Yannick Alléno, Dominique Crenn, Amanda Cohen, Emma Bengtsson and Nancy Silverton.
Available from January 13, 2019, with a four-night minimum stay, guests interested in participating in this unforgettable experience can book the “Cayman Cookout” package, starting at $1,536 per night plus taxes and fees for two guests.
The package includes overnight accommodations at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, daily breakfast for two at Seven Restaurant, a reduced resort fee of $30 per day, and two tickets to four of the festival’s most exciting signature events. Guests booking the Cayman Cookout package will be invited to join the Wine Fair and Auction on Thursday, January 16, the Barefoot BBQ on Friday, January 17, the After-Dinner Party on Saturday, January 18, and Rum and Robusto on Sunday, January 19.
The intimate size of many Cookout events and limited quantity of bookings available allows for unprecedented access to this all-star roster of internationally-recognized chefs, while the relaxed environment and beautiful beachside surroundings of the Cayman Islands fosters a genuine connection and fun weekend.
In addition to the guest-favorite celebrations above, Cayman Cookout will host a variety of daily demonstrations and classes hosted by each acclaimed chef, meet-and-greet opportunities, special meals and much more, as well as a selection of new events being unveiled for the first time this year. A full schedule of events and tickets will be available on October 1, 2018.

SAJJ Mediterranean invites families to kick-off the summer months with their Family Meal Deal! The feast for four ($29.95) includes Falafel, Chicken Shawarma, Mixed Green Salad, Rice, Hummus, Tzatziki, Pita Bread, & Sajj Sauces, a festival of flavors that the whole family can enjoy (vegetarian options are also available and steak can be substituted for $4.95). SAJJ, which has made a name for itself for offering traditional Mediterranean dishes that take guests on a culinary adventure, is located at 22245 El Paseo Suite A in Rancho Santa Margarita.
The Family Meal Deal is available for takeout only when ordered online weekdays from 3 pm - 8 p.m. and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
