Daphne’s debuts Za’atar Shrimp Bowl

Daphne's, the fresh and wholesome Greek fast casual eatery just introduced the Za'atar Shrimp Bowl to their menu at all three Orange County locations. Available now through March 31, the bowl ($12.99) features a house made fresh herb za'atar-crusted shrimp skewer over a bed of organic mixed greens with roasted vegetables, seasoned basmati rice, tzatziki sauce, and served with warm za'atar pita bread.
You can also enjoy specialty salads, flatbread pizzas, pita sandwiches and grilled meats and seafood complemented by flavorful sides such as a spicy Fire Feta®dip, roasted veggies, and tabouli. All salads are freshly prepared to order, kabobs hand-made daily, lean meats and seafood grilled to order, and gyro meat is slow-roasted.
If you’re following a special diet, Daphne’s is ideal for you. Meals can be customized to accommodate low-fat, low-carb, high protein diets as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten- free diets.

Sunday Musicale at Newport Beach Public Library

Newport Beach Public Library will kick off the new year with a Sunday Musicale on Sunday, January 13 at 3 p.m. featuring ACE Trio with Shannon Canchola on flute, Ryan Glass on clarinet and Jason Stoll, playing the piano. ACE Trio is a Los Angeles based classical modern ensemble rapidly distinguishing itself as one of the newest leading groups of its generation.
Admission is free. Seating is first-come, first-serve, based on room capacity. Sunday Musicales are funded by generous donations from the Friends of the Library. For more information, please contact the Library at 949.717.3800, option 2, or visit the website at newportbeachlibrary.org.
Sunday Musicales are held in the Friends Meeting Room at the Central Library, 1000 Avocado Avenue, Newport Beach.
