Spring Floral Workshop with Alison Whiteman

Learn to make a vibrant spring colored floral arrangement with Roger’s Gardens talented Floral Designer, Alison Whiteman on Wednesday, March 27 at 5 p.m. In addition to fresh cut stems, each participant will be able to cut flowers from their own SunBelievable plant, a new flowering plant that will produce over 1,000 blooms per season.
Alison will guide you through the steps and provide tips on how to care for your plant and arrangement. Registration fee is $125 per person/arrangement; includes a SunBelievable plant, fresh floral stems, a rustic metal container and step-by-step instructions.
Additional supplies or plant materials are available for an additional fee. Unfortunately, due to material costs, cancellations after March 22 cannot be refunded. If desired, bring gloves. To make your reservation, go to shoprogersgardens.com or call 949.640.5800.

OC-Based IVI Vision, Nominated CSU Fullerton’s 5th Annual Family Business Hall of Fame Awards

Orange County-based IVI Vision is nominated for California State University Fullerton’s 5th Annual Family Business Hall of Fame Awards. The award is provided by the Center for Family Business, an educational forum under the direction of The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. The event will be Tuesday, March 19 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum and includes keynote speaker Andrew Taylor, who is a 2nd generation owner and Executive Chairman of Enterprise Holdings.
The Center’s mission is to help educate business families in Southern California so that they can continue to grow and prosper while keeping harmony in the family. The Center carries out this mission by offering direct access to resources with the intention of providing structure and comfort in finding solutions to member’s worries or concerns.
This event recognizes the outstanding achievements of those family businesses and individuals in Southern California who continually demonstrate a commitment to world-class results and success.
IVI’s owners Patrick & Alison Moriarty are committed to the importance of family and it’s strongly incorporated into their business and is expected to increase in the future. They’re also committed to offering the highest quality eyewear brand with customer satisfaction above all else.
