Christina Peng,14, AKA The Salty Asian Girl Writes Book For Charity

02.01.19

In a quest to do good and help underwrite art classes at CHOC, Orange County-based Christina Peng, 14, spent the last ten months writing and illustrating a book, “Pimples for Promise” that she wants to sell for charity. If that’s not impressive enough, she also made a website, an animated promo video, and a Creativity Aviary in Emagination Island, the world’s first learning adventure park made by kids to teach the world how to imagine, create and give. Christina’s book and charity are part of this Island.

Her Aviary in Emagination Island is an upcoming online learning adventure park that teaches everyone to imagine, create, and give.

Her proud teacher, Clarissa Ngo says creating a book, a website, an animated video, and a theme park aviary has not been easy for Christina.

"She has never done anything like this before, so she basically taught herself from scratch. When she tried to sell her book door-to-door, she got fifty rejections until she improved her pitch and dressed like a green elf with a scroll about our island." Ngo said.

Order here now at saltyasiangirl.com to help underwrite art classes at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and to build Emagination Island, the world’s first learning adventure park made by kids.
