Thanksgiving Family Fun Fest at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach!

Join the annual Family Fun-Fest on Thanksgiving Day at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach! On Thursday, Nov. 28 from noon to 4 p.m., they will be featuring a delectable buffet presented by their culinary team with all of the Traditional Holiday trimmings including Oven-Roasted Turkey, Garlic Whipped Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole and more.
If you are looking for some additions to the traditional items check out their Iced Seafood Display or Sushi Display for a variety of locally sourced and thoughtfully served seafood options and Brunch offerings including an assortment of pastries, a Made to Order Omelet Station and a French Toast Station.
Thanksgiving Dinner wouldn’t be complete without dessert, so be sure to save room as they will be serving Pumpkin Pie as well as an assortment of miniature dessert options designed to let you have a small taste of all of the goodies, Caramel Apple Pie and Pecan Walnut Almond Caramel Bars. And…they have a special children’s buffet for the younger guests in your party that is sure to please even the most difficult palate.
The event will also feature live music, a photo booth, and a pop-up shop for those that want to get a head start on their holiday shopping! The kids are sure to love the Face Painter and Balloon Artist, as well as the craft activities that will allow for the creation of a keepsake to take home.
No Thanksgiving Day would be complete without a little Football, so be sure to check out the Lobby Lounge where they will be showing the games and serving up a variety of craft beers and cocktails. They look forward to welcoming you and your family to the property for a day of rest and relaxation with those that you love while creating memories that will bring you back each holiday for their festivities.

Dynamic Jazz Ensemble Celebrates the Music of New Orleans Legend Allen Toussaint

Jazz enthusiasts are in for a treat as NOJO 7 of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra performs the music of New Orleans’ legendary pianist and songwriter Allen Toussain on Sunday, November 24 at 7 p.m. at Irvine Barclay Theatre in Irvine.
Possessing an inimitable swinging style, the mighty NOJO 7 has performed and recorded with a veritable who’s who of artists across all genres. Led by Grammy Award-winning drummer and Artistic Director Adonis Rose, this 7-piece ensemble, which honors the dynamic traditions of New Orleans brass & rhythm, is drawn from the full New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. Ingrained with soulful grooves and energetic group interplay, NOJO 7 performs the music of New Orleans’ legendary pianist and songwriter Allen Toussaint, whose music influenced generations spanning more than fifty years.
