Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar Launches Houses for the Holidays
11.13.19
This holiday season, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is inviting guests to build their own unique gingerbread houses in order to give families across the country the opportunity to help build an affordable place to call home. Through December 31, guests can order a gingerbread house kit for $5.95—and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity International.
When guests gather around the table at Lazy Dog, they can build and decorate a gingerbread house together as they enjoy seasonal beverages and wait for their meals. Each kit comes with pre-cut edible gingerbread walls and roof pieces, the icing to keep it all together, and gummy and chocolate candies for imaginative decorating. The gingerbread houses will be available at all Lazy Dog locations.
Through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity, every gingerbread house purchased at a Lazy Dog Restaurant will help families in need of a decent place to live in communities across the U.S. Habitat strives to help others build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
Reservations are also available for business and office parties to celebrate the holiday season together and give back to a worthwhile cause.
Designed to feel like a Rocky Mountain escape, Lazy Dog’s warm interior has lodge-inspired furnishings such as cozy fireplaces, ledge stone, a chandelier crafted from Aspen logs and artwork reminiscent of the Cowboy State. Multiple flat-screen TVs are mounted throughout the bar and patio areas so guests may cheer on their favorite sports teams, and a dog-friendly patio offers a special menu for dogs featuring grilled meats and brown rice. Lazy Dog also offers brunch on the weekends, plus daily happy hour and late-night offerings.
