CARTOONING SUMMER CAMP
05.31.20
The Chuck Jones Center offers a home online summer Cartooning Camp on June 22-26. It’s an exploration of digital animation development taught with a Chuck Jones teaching artist. Their teaching artist will guide students through the process of creating digital animations. Activities include learning how to create an introductory animation using a free program, create movement, characters, and more. This camp is sure to have something for every young cartoonist!
Students will need to prepare by downloading Autodesk Sketchbook (free on desktops and tablets).
This week-long camp takes place online via Zoom (link and PW to be provided), June 22 -June 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) daily, Pacific time.
The camp is $75 a person, for students ages 8 to 15. Discounted pricing for signing up two or more: two students for $140; three students for $195; four students for $240. More than four, please contact Cyndi Burgess, Programs Manager, at Cyndi@chuckjonescenter.org or call 949-660.7793, ext. 1007.
