Come Together This Thanksgiving at Dana Point Harbor
11.20.23
Celebrate Thanksgiving at Dana Point Harbor, courtesy of Dana Point Harbor Partners! We invite the community to partake in a delightful array of seasonal festivities, including exclusive shopping specials, exceptional dining experiences, live entertainment, and the highly-anticipated 46th annual Turkey Trot, organized by the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce.
The eagerly awaited Turkey Trot, generously sponsored by Dana Point Harbor Partners, extends a warm welcome to participants, whether in person or virtually, to embark on a 5k, 10k, 15k, or Kids' 1-mile Gobble Wobble journey on Thanksgiving Day. Registration comes complete with a commemorative t-shirt, a coveted finisher medal, and a virtual goody bag brimming with special offers from local businesses. For additional information and to secure your spot, please visit TurkeyTrot.com.
Additionally, the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce is orchestrating a "Loyal to Local" holiday shopping passport program to inspire and encourage shoppers to prioritize local spending and support our vibrant small business community throughout the holiday season. Shoppers will carry their passports to over 100 participating businesses and receive stamps that correspond to their in-store expenditures. Completed passports can be submitted to the Dana Point Chamber office, making shoppers eligible for weekly prizes and a grand prize that includes an overnight stay at one of our city's exquisite resort properties. This initiative coincides with the lighting of the Harbor's enchanting holiday lights, running through January 4, 2024.
Participating harbor businesses in this program encompass a wide range of establishments, including Capt. Dave's Dolphin & Whale Safari, Catalina Express, Coffee Importers | Scoop Deck Ice Cream, Dana Point Charters, Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching, Frisby Cellars, Golden Galleon Boutique, Historic Schooner Curlew, iHeartYoga, Jon's Fish Market, Killer Dana Surf Shop, Left Coast Sportfishing, Ocean Institute, Proud Mary's, The Brig Restaurant, The Doggie Barkery, Westwind Sailing, Wind & Sea Restaurant, and Woody Hut.
More information can be found at danapointchamber.com/holiday.
Restaurants that will be open and serving Thanksgiving Day meals include Wind & Sea, Harpoon Henry’s, The Brig, Gemmell’s Restaurant, El Torito and Turk's.
