6th annual Fash Bash

Free fashion activities for kids and teens are underway as the 6th annual Fash Bash returns to The District from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, August 19.
Fun activities taking place outside the Fashion Camp include: DIY pin-making, a pom-pom earring station, a photo booth, braid bar, sketching, mini-manicures and T-shirt deconstruction for $5. In-store promotions include a sale on sewing machines, plus 20-percent off any on-site registration of Fashion Camp’s fall lineup of camps and workshops.
Additionally, two fashion shows will showcase the designs and creations of Fashion Camp’s summer campers and another will feature a Project Runway-style presentation of designs from the Advanced Camp set, where students created, designed and sewed their own original designs.

Family Funday at Ruby’s Diner Laguna Hills

Ruby’s Diner Laguna Hills is hosting families for two days of exciting activities for Family Funday on Saturday, August 19 and Saturday, August 26.
On Saturday, August 19 from 2 to 3 p.m., enjoy live music from children’s band, Jelly of the Month Club, plus free activities such as a balloon artist. On Saturday, August 26 from 3 to 5 p.m., the family-fun continues with more live music and an opportunity for kids to have their photo and fingerprints taken by the Orange County Sheriff Department.
