Free Education, Personal Care in the Middle Stage of Alzheimer’s

Join Alzheimer's Association Orange County for free education over the phone for caregivers in the middle stage on Friday, Dec. 1 from 1-2 p.m. Caregivers may need to begin helping with personal care tasks. Alzheimer’s Association’s Education Center will discuss assisting with personal care, including eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, dental care, and using the bathroom. Registration required by Thursday, Nov. 30 to receive dial-in instructions.

Diesel truck dealership OC Autos Gives Back

OC Autos, Orange County's leading source for used diesel truck sales, is celebrating their first full year at their new supercenter in Santa Ana. They are one of the West Coast's only dedicated Diesel Truck dealerships & service centers, and are run by a mostly female management team, and a female founder.
The full-service dealership offers a diverse selection of vehicles, expanded service options and proudly giving back to the community through generous donations and upcoming classes to learn basics of maintaining a truck or car.
Founded in 2010 by Bushra Salman, OC Autos is known in Southern California and nationwide for their wide selection of highly desired used diesel trucks, which are often difficult to locate and service due to limited production and lack of maintenance specialists. Salman and her team take pride in the full experience that OC Autos has to offer, and are paying it forward via their Relief on Wheels (ROW) program that provides vehicles for needy individuals in the area. Also, the OC Autos team is soon to unveil a series of free weekend workshops, empowering Women and Men to learn more about vehicle maintenance basics, avoiding common predatory tactics unfortunately used by some auto repair shops.
