Free Juice at Mother’s Market/Hoag Blood Drive

Mother’s Market & Kitchen’s Costa Mesa store will partner with Hoag Blood Donor Services to host a blood drive in Mother’s parking lot located at 1890 Newport Blvd. on Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
In appreciation, Mother’s will provide all donors with a coupon for a free 8 oz. fresh juice of choice from Mother’s popular juice bar.
Blood donations will be used to support Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach.
According to Hoag Blood Donor Services, the need for blood remains constant, and patients continue to depend on the generosity of blood donors to meet that need. And, though 38 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood – less than 10 percent do annually. In California, less than 5 percent donate annually.

Motown The Musical returns to the Segerstrom Hall stage for one week only Dec. 19 to Dec. 24. Directed by Charles Randolph - Wright, Motown The Musical is the true American dream story of Motown founder Berry Gordy’s journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and many more.
Featuring more than 50 classic hits such as “My Girl” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” Mowtown The Musical tells the story behind the hits as Diana, Smokey, Berry and the whole Motown family fight against the odds to create the soundtrack of change in America.
