Zov’s Opens in Anaheim

Chef Zov Karamardian just opened her newest location in Anaheim, not far from Honda Center and Angel Stadium. Longtime Zov fans love her award-winning Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Armenian cuisine served at her restaurants and bakeries in Tustin, Newport Coast, Irvine and the John Wayne Airport.
Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Happy Hour is from 3 to 6 p.m. nightly. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

THE BABC LA 56TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON

The Starlight Ballroom of the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica will be transformed by a spirited Merry Christmas celebration in Grand British tradition at the 56th Annual Christmas Luncheon on Friday, December 11.
Celebrated British fashion photographer and judge on "America’s Next Top Model," Nigel Barker will be this year’s guest speaker. Louise Roe, British fashion journalist, will host the luncheon and the invocation will be given by British textile and fashion designer, Dame Zandra Rhodes.
The festive Christmas Luncheon has become a celebrated favorite with the British and American communities in SoCal. Each year it draws over 500 people, including celebrities, prominent leaders from high profile business, aerospace, manufacturing, legal and entertainment companies; local political figures and guests from the British and European Consulates.
Festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. with a hosted Champagne Reception and expansive silent auction. The traditional sit-down British Christmas luncheon, complete with all the trimmings, is accompanied by first-rate entertainment.
