Zov’s Debuts New Brunch Menu Inspired by Family Traditions
09.29.25
This summer, the Karamardian family developed a brunch menu that balances comfort, creativity and the flavors that have kept Zov’s a local favorite for nearly four decades.
“Brunch at Zov’s goes beyond creative fare—it’s also about gathering and celebrating in a stylish, welcoming setting,” said Armen Karamardian, son of founder Zov Karamardian and CEO of Zov’s. “This new brunch lineup reflects our family’s passion for hospitality while honoring the flavors and traditions that make Zov’s feel like home.”
The menu features Mediterranean-inspired sweet and savory dishes made with fresh ingredients and imaginative twists on popular classics, including:
Baklava French Toast with layers of brioche, ashta cream, honey walnut syrup, fresh berries and crispy kataifi
Lemon Ricotta Pancakes topped with fresh berries, pistachios and housemade whipped cream
Short Rib Hash with braised short rib, poached egg, roasted red pepper relish, green onion, feta and a crispy hash brown cake
Soujouk Scramble with spiced soujouk sausage, peppers, onions, lebni and pita
Smoked Salmon Toast with lebni, crispy capers, cucumber, soft boiled egg, fresh dill and sumac
Burrata Toast with grilled sweetened peaches, sun-dried tomatoes, basil and candied walnuts
Watermelon Salad with heirloom tomatoes, balsamic vinaigrette, crispy pita strips, red onion, feta, fresh mint and pomegranate reduction
Lively craft cocktails and mocktails complement the new brunch items. Fresh watermelon margaritas, seasonal mimosas and crisp spritzes are already guest favorites.
Brunch is served daily at Zov’s Tustin and on Saturday and Sunday at Zov’s Irvine at Orchard Hills and Zov’s Newport Coast.

Segerstrom Center Expands Feel Good, Do Good Donation Drives
09.26.25
Segerstrom Center for the Arts is continuing its commitment to the Orange County community with the fourth annual Feel Good, Do Good donation drives, which pair local nonprofits with touring Broadway productions. During the 2025-26 Broadway season, each show will be thematically matched with a nonprofit organization, encouraging audiences to donate small items that make a big impact. The program reflects the Center’s mission to spread kindness and strengthen connections both on stage and in the community.
Over the years, the Center has worked with more than 20 local nonprofits through these drives. Highlights include nearly 1,000 books donated to Children’s Hospital of Orange County Foundation during To Kill a Mockingbird and more than 600 pounds of pasta ingredients collected for Caterina’s Club during Peter Pan. The program began in 2022 with a canned food drive for Grandma’s House of Hope during Hadestown, which restocked shelves for Orange County’s unhoused population and those in crisis.
Since then, the Center has partnered with Ronald McDonald House, Orange County Animal Care, Someone Cares Soup Kitchen, Miracles for Kids and others. The program has also shown how quickly the theater community can mobilize. During devastating fires in Los Angeles, the Center redirected its efforts to support the LA Dream Center. A school supplies drive for United Way during Mamma Mia also helped bring a sense of hope to students at a struggling Santa Ana elementary school.
Donation bins will be available in the Segerstrom Hall lobby throughout the Broadway season. Drives will focus on four categories: canned food, toys and books, school supplies and hygiene products.
As Broadway inspires audiences worldwide, Segerstrom Center invites its patrons to inspire others locally through community support. The Center extends its gratitude to all who participate and help strengthen the ties between theater and community.
Tickets for the 2025-26 Broadway Series are available at scfta.org, by phone at 714-556-2787, or in person at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa. For group discounts of 10 or more, call 714-755-0236.
