The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe Completes $42 Million Renovation
08.20.25
The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, a boutique luxury hotel with a star-studded history, is tucked into the rolling hills of one of San Diego’s most exclusive enclaves. The historic resort, bathed in sunshine most days of the year, has unveiled five new luxury residences and villas, marking the final stage of its $42 million renovation.
New StayWell Longevity Menu
Dr. Sarah Corey, one of Southern California’s leading integrative concierge doctors, is introducing her StayWell wellness and longevity program to The Inn in time for Labor Day. The new spa menu blends biometrics, functional medicine, and cellular age testing, with offerings that include NAD+ drips, hormone therapy, and personalized consultations, all within the serene Mila Moursi Spa.
New Erewhon Partnership
The Café now carries select Erewhon products, making The Inn one of the only destinations in San Diego for Erewhon devotees. Exclusive Erewhon-inspired spa treatments and in-room amenities will debut soon.
New Leadership
Andrew Archibald, whose career includes leadership roles at The Carlyle, Meadowood Napa Valley, and Mandarin Oriental New York City, recently joined The Inn as managing director.
Revitalized Spaces
The Inn’s restoration, led by designer Steve Hermann with interiors by Nina Chiappa, reimagined the 1920s Spanish Revival estate through a modern lens while honoring the legacy of Lilian Rice, named among the Pioneering Women of American Architecture by the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation. Original details such as hand-hewn beams and terracotta rooflines remain, now paired with custom millwork, curated vintage furnishings, and refined finishes.
The new villas and residences range from one to three bedrooms and feature Calacatta marble bathrooms with Toto toilets, artisanal tilework, and layouts designed for long-term stays and multigenerational getaways.
Bing’s Bar and Lilian’s
Bing’s Bar is named after Hollywood icon and Rancho Santa Fe resident Bing Crosby. The space features creative cocktails, light bites, and live music. The Golf & Smoke, made with pineapple-infused Santo Mezcal Mezquila and habanero bitters, delivers a smoky-sweet tropical profile that captures the agave-driven, spice-forward cocktail trend of 2025.
Lilian’s is a zero-waste kitchen serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. The menu offers lighter Californian fare and comfort dishes that reflect the Latin and Asian influences on the region’s cuisine.
