About Greer's OC
Who is Greer Wylder?
Since 1993, Greer has been writing about fashion, dining and trends in Orange
County, as a popular columnist for the Los Angeles Time Community Newspapers
(Daily Pilot, Coastline Pilot and HB Independent) and now as founder of Greer’s
OC. Do you have a friend who always seems to be ahead of the trends, who has
great taste, who has a great sense of humor and who you just like being around?
That’s Greer.
She’s also a mother of four boys, a board member of Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation (JDRF), and the Executive Producer of a
documentary in
production about the quest for a cure to type 1 diabetes. In her spare time,
Greer runs marathons and loves to cook.
What is Greer’s OC?
Greer's OC website is the most amazing place to find out about ANYTHING and
EVERYTHING in Orange County.
It’s a website and free daily e-mail service (called "A Daily Dose of
OC") for Orange County that tips you to hot new retail stores, undiscovered
dining spots and the latest products and services.
Tell me about the free daily e-mail I can get called "A Daily Dose of OC"
Her FREE daily e-mail newsletter gives you dining tips better than Zagat's,
insiders info on cool places to shop, updates on the best sales, what to do
that's fun on the weekends, and must-go to events. Her Greer's OC TV videos
are more entertaining/informative then anything on real TV. Her reviews of
hotels (not just in OC) are better than any recommendations from a travel
agent, and she gives non-biased reviews on the latest in gear.
What else do I get by subscribing to the free e-mails?
Plenty. You’ll receive special offers, discounts, incredible weekly giveaways (available only to free subscribers to "A Daily Dose of OC"),
Will you ever sell or give my e-mail address to others?
No. Never.
Is it hard to unsubscribe?
No. Just click on the "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom of each e-mail and you will be off the list.
What’s the catch?
There’s none.
Do advertisers pay to be featured?
No. Greer can’t be bought. This website is funded by the advertisements it sells. Occasionally, Greer will send out a "Greer’s Special Delivery" e-mail that features and is paid for by an advertiser.
What if I have a tip for Greer?
Please, pass it along. Greer’s email address is greer@pacific-creative.digital.
What about advertising?
For retailers and restaurateurs, Greer’s OC delivers super-motivated shoppers and diners with none of the waste circulation endemic to old media. For more information, e-mail gretchen@pacific-creative.digital or call (949) 300-8713.
Educating Jack and Milly:
As many of you already know, Greer met two impoverished, bright and hardworking
young adults in Kenya two summers ago, Jack, 23, and Milly, 19. She vowed to give
them a college education to change the trajectory of their lives and has worked
diligently to raise funds for their schooling by hosting events and selling
cookies in their name.
To help Greer meet her goal of collecting the $2,000 needed each year to provide
for their education, click the donation button below.
