Wonder on the West Coast

New York based C. Wonder just made its West Coast debut at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. Co-founded by Chris Burch, Tory Burch’s ex-husband, the whimsical, colorful and savvy fashion and home accessories boutique offers a luxury shopping experience, minus luxury price tags. Most items cost an average of $40, including apparel, jewelry, housewares, gadgets, electronics and gifts.

For those who favor monograms, for just $10 you can customize colorful totes, oxford shirts, and blankets, or shop from ready to go personalized gifts bearing alphabets such as belts, bottle stoppers, mugs, and stationery.  Whether you’re looking to add some colorful basics to your wardrobe, want fashion jewelry to complete an outfit, or want to brighten up your home with pillows and vases without overspending, visit the new C. Wonder.

Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. At Fashion Island (adjacent to the koi pond) in Newport Beach. 949.644.4376.

25 Years of Quality Photography

My preferred photographer, Lori Brystan is celebrating 25 years at Brystan Studios, a premiere full-service portrait studio in Orange County. Brystan,  one of the most sought after photographers in SoCal, is a favorite source for beautiful, stunning and ultra-flattering photos.

If you book a session with Brystan, she’ll donate 25% of the session fee to the Educating Jack & Milly fund, a cause I started in 2010 to give two bright Kenyans, Jack & Milly, a university education in Nairobi. You can choose between family shots, portraits, professional headshots, studio or outdoor sittings.

A professional session by Brystan includes make-up and hair, wardrobe selection is available and portraits are additional.

Brystan Studios is at 27001 Moulton Parkway, Suite 108 in Aliso Viejo. 949.831.3774.

LoveShopGive

LoveShopGive, originally a Tustin based gift boutique set up to help raise funds for local charities, has expanded to an online shopping experience  that supports national and even international charities, and offers hundreds of top name brand products.

LoveShopGive is the brainchild of the Koren family from Villa Park who are making a larger impact on charitable giving and connecting shoppers with favorite charities such as JDRF Orange County, Kiva, charity:water, CHOC Children’s Foundation and the American Heart Association of Orange County. Their tagline, Love the Charities. Shop the Brands. Give Hope to Others also gives shoppers the chance to read about the positive change that their contribution will make.

Shop for gifts at http://byinvitationonlyoc.com/ and 20% of every purchase will benefit the charity of your choice. LoveShopGive is at 1382 Valencia Avenue, Suite G, in Tustin.
