Ring in the New Year with SOCO!

2015 is just around the corner, and SOCO has everything you need to ring in the new year with flair! With their impressive line up of culinary, fashion, and décor offerings, SOCO is Orange County’s one-stop shopping destination for planning a unique and memorable New Year’s Eve. From festive tablecloths to hostess gifts to stylish holiday ensembles, SOCO has it all!

Start by setting the stage for your New Year’s soiree with table décor from TPT Home like pom-pom garland, burlap table runners, and decorative vases. A new or vintage vinyl record from Analog Record Shop would also add a festive soundtrack for the night!

For an easy but impressive hors d'oeuvres spread, assemble a quick charcuterie plate with artisan cheeses and salamis from the Cellar Cheese Shop or Surfas Culinary District. Shuck Oyster Bar also offers their oysters to go, which are delivered fresh every day from over 60 farms.

A signature craft cocktail is another great way to elevate your party, and The Mixing Glass at The OC Mix offers vintage barware and handcrafted ingredients that you just can’t find anywhere else. Combined with some tips and tricks from the Mixing Glass team, you’ll look like a master mixologist in no time!

If you’d rather leave meal prep to the pros, the culinary masterminds at 24 Carrots Catering and Events and Greenleaf Gourmet Chop offer a wide array of delicious and healthy catering options to accommodate gatherings of all sizes. You can also enjoy a night out at some of SOCO’s award-winning restaurants such as Pueblo Tapas or ARC, which are both open for New Year’s Eve dinner. (  and)

Put the finishing touches on your big night with the perfect ensemble. Cloth and Metal’s timeless collection of menswear includes many top and up-and-coming designers. Eva’s Trunk and meil both offer a contemporary collection of women’s fashions as well as styling services. And don’t forget to stop by Lili Claspe Jewelry to top off your outfit with something sparkly!

When the clock finally strikes midnight, toast to 2015 with a glass of bubbly. SOCO’s recently opened LCA Wine offers a collection of nearly 400 wines from around the world and they can hand select a bottle (or two!) for the evening.

SOCO is at 3303-3323 Hyland Ave. in Costa Mesa.
