The beloved original California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) concept that debuted in Beverly Hills in 1985, is launching an exciting transformation dubbed “The Next Chapter,” featuring sustainable materials at all locations across the country that you can experience now at CPK’s Huntington Beach, Brea, Newport Beach and on Saturday, at the Anaheim location.
All of the Orange County CPK’s will be receiving the Next Chapter treatment over the next several months. CPK’s new look features warm rustic décor with oak floors, tabletops and chairs from reclaimed wood and stone countertops. Fabrics are made from recycled materials and each restaurant grows a natural herb garden. Artwork displays local landmarks for a neighborhood feel.
There’s also an expanded ‘reimagined’ menu that features iconic favorites such as CPK’s BBQ Chicken Pizza, the original BBQ chopped chicken salad, our favorite Thai crunch salad, the Sicilian pizza with zesty marinara sauce, salami, spicy ham, mozzarella and Fontina cheeses, Italian sausage, and basil, and many more.
Exciting new menu items include the California Fields Salad with fresh watermelon, strawberries and field greens with housemade Champagne vinaigrette, pistachios and feta cheese; the Tricolore Salad Pizza with caramelized parmesan pizza crust with field greens, tomatoes, shaved parmesan with housemade Dijon balsamic vinaigrette. There’s also a delicious Harvest Kale Salad and the Sunnyside Up Bacon + Potato Pizza. Main plates include upscale options like Fire Grilled Ribeye, fresh cut in Merced, and Hearth Roasted Halibut, caught sustainably from the Aleutian Islands. New Lunch Duos offer more than 80 fresh, made-to-order pairing combinations of 7” pizzas, sandwiches, soups and salads.
The centerpiece of the new CPK concepts is an open kitchen, where you can watch skilled hand-tossed pizza chefs prepare artisan pizzas, foods made from scratch, as well as exciting new main courses baked in the open-hearth oven.
CPK continues to offer delicious menu choices for people with dietary restrictions offering vegan and vegetarian, gluten-free items as well as healthy meal options under 650 calories.
