This Saturday, May 9 at 11 a.m., Chef Shachi Mehra of Adya at the Anaheim Packing House will host a cooking class inspired by her mother’s cooking. You can learn to recreate fun, fresh and easy-to-execute dishes while enjoying lunch and wine outside on Adya’s private boxcar patio. The cost is $30 per guest. Space is limited. Driftwood Kitchen in Laguna Beach will offer a lavish brunch buffet on Sunday, May 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with various stations including a hot station with eggs benedict, breakfast sausages, bacon and grilled veggies; a cold station with house-baked croissants and danishes, seafood over ice, fruit, cheese and charcuterie, and fresh salads; a live action station featuring made-to-order omelets and egg scrambles; a sushi hand roll station with Hawaiian big eye tuna and Dungeness Crab hand rolls; a carving station with whole-roasted Omaha prime rib and New Zealand rack of lamb; a fish station featuring Branzino and local halibut filets; a kids station with French toast, mac ’n cheese, and chicken fingers; and finally a dessert station which includes made-to-order crepes and various pastries. The special brunch is priced at $65 for adults, $25 for children, and free for kids under the age of 6.

On Sunday, May 10 Provenance in Newport Beach will offer a special Mother’s Day prix fix Champagne brunch from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Priced at $49 per guest, the four-course menu features an array of new specials and classic brunch favorites followed by a lavish dessert buffet featuring Chef Cathy Pavlos’ mini Euro pastries. Kids menus and vegetarian options are available.

Lucca Cafe in Irvine will offer their fabulous Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch Buffet on Sunday, May 10. From 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., the restaurant will offer a full buffet featuring salads, breakfast items, a lavish dessert display, and so much more. Lucca’s Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet is priced at $39.95 per person, $44.95 including Champagne, and children under 12 pay their age.

This Mother's Day, treat Mom to an incredible three-course brunch or dinner at Sapphire in Laguna Beach. For Brunch Chef Azmin Ghahreman will be preparing an international inspired menu from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.. Entrees include a house smoked salmon and wild mushroom omelet, Maine lobster and shrimp enchiladas, brioche French toast, and much more. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 9 p.m. and will feature entrees including an aged prime New York steak, oven-roasted lamb sirloin, and pan-seared Loch Duart salmon.
