Music Appreciation at LCA Wine’s Lord of the Strings Concert
Brush up on music appreciation at LCA Wine’s Lord of the Strings Summer concert on Sunday, September 27 from 3-6 pm, featuring one of Europe’s finest soloists, Clive Carroll. A genius on strings, Carroll creates all of his work based on a particular person or major event in his life. Don’t miss out on this acoustic guitar phenomenon and the opportunity to hear his musical journey. During the concert, guests will have the option to purchase wine and food pairings curated by LCA Wine and SOCO’s culinary partners. Tickets are available online for $30.
Art Class at Chuck Jones Center’s Palates and Palettes
Relive the days of elementary school art class at “Palates and Palettes” at SOCO’s Chuck Jones Center for Creativity on Friday, September 25, from 7:30-9:30 pm. Enjoy an evening painting your own perfect masterpiece at while sampling an assortment of wine and hors d’oeuvres. Canvases, paints and all other materials will be provided, and reservations are available online for $35 per person or $45 per couple.
Cooking 101 at Surfas Culinary District
You don’t have to spend all day in the kitchen to eat deliciously. On Wednesday, September 30, Surfas’ Chef Instructor will show you how to create four easy weeknight dinners in no time. Enjoy an generous tasting of: Ricotta Cannelloni with Fresh Spinach and Chanterelles, Grilled Gremolata Lamb Chops with Cannellini Beans and Artichokes, Prosciutto-Wrapped Chicken Breasts with Asparagus Pesto and Halibut ‘en Papillote with Orange, New Potatoes, and Saffron. The class runs from 5:30 – 8:30 pm and tickets are available online for $75 per person.
SOCO Nights — Free Screening of Coraline
You and your family are invited to this year’s final SOCO Nights, a free, family-friendly outdoor movie series at SOCO’s open-air courtyard. Guests will enjoy live music and a free outdoor movie screening by Gear Co-op. In addition to special deals at SOCO’s award-winning restaurants, LCA Wine will offer a wine garden with proceeds benefiting Costa Mesa High School Foundation. Get Crafty at OC Stitch Night
If you have a natural talent for stitching or are looking for a new creative outlet, join the Yarnover Truck Girls at The OC Mix on Wednesday, October 14, from 5-9pm, at SOCO Collection for OC Stitch Night. Every 2nd Wednesday of the month, you’ll have the opportunity to meet fellow members of the stitching community for a night of shopping, eating, and crafting fun. For more information, click here.

((305)) FITNESS is an East Coast born underground non-stop cardio experience that mixes dance moves, sports drills and high intensity interval training to create a full-body workout.
It's named after Miami's area code, and some say it’s a rave-meets workout—without the club drugs. Classes feature a live DJ and rhythmic light show.
For one night only, ((305)),is hitting Los Angeles on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at Third Street Dance. Anyone can go, dance experience is not required. Sadie Kurzban, ((305))’s founder will be leading the class.
