DUNKIN’ DONUTS opens New Green Location in Westminster

Dunkin’ Donuts, the beloved stop for coffee and baked goods, will be opening a new Green Achievement restaurant in Westminster on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 5 a.m. It will offer its full array of iconic menu items including fresh-brewed coffee, iced coffees, hot and iced tea, lattes, espresso, cappuccino, macchiato, sandwiches, muffins, bagels, croissants and donuts.

The first guest to be served in both the walk-in and drive-thru lines will receive a $250 DD Perks gift card while the first 100 guests in line will get a Dunkin’ Donuts tote bag complete with goodies! Other grand opening festivities will include DD Perks gift card giveaways as well as free passed samples and photo opportunities with Cuppy, Dunkin’ Donuts beloved brand mascot.

The new location is a DD Green Achievement restaurant with energy- and water-saving features including LED lights, high-performance windows and low-flow faucets. DD Green Achievement is Dunkin’ Donuts’ sustainable restaurant program for U.S. restaurants that helps franchisees build new eco-friendly and energy-efficient locations.

The opening festivities and ceremony will include a check presentation to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. The restaurant will donate $1,000 to help the organization to help meet the needs of children and families with first-class care and state-of-the-art facilities.

The new Westminster location is operated by Robert Jonas, Dan Almquist and Matt Higgins of Frontier Restaurant Group, the same team that opened Dunkin’ Donuts’ Long Beach and Santa Ana restaurants. It’s part of the exciting plan to bring a total of 24 Dunkin’ Donuts locations to Orange County, South Bay and Bakersfield.
