Celebrate Sunday Funday at The Triangle

Now that spring is here and El Nino never made its predicted appearance, it’s time to get out and enjoy OC’s great weather while dining al fresco with family and families. The Triangle in Costa Mesa has numerous restaurants ideal for Sunday brunch with family or a convenient spot to meet friends for lunch or dinner. The dining and entertainment center is also giving away a $100 gift card to Tavern + Bowl; visit The Triangle’s Facebook page to enter.

At Tavern + Bowl, you can enjoy brunch or lunch while watching your favorite teams on the multiple TVs throughout the restaurant, followed by a round or two of bowling. The menu offers everything from scratch and something for everyone, with dishes ranging from steak and burgers to vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and Paleo options.

Tavern + Bowl’s brunch menu features selections such as the Rise & Shine Flatbread, with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, guajillo salsa and cheddar-jack cheese; the Egg + Chorizo Sandwich with scrambled eggs, chorizo, cheddar cheese, fire-roasted corn + black bean salsa, and chipotle aioli on a brioche bun; and a Biscuit Sandwich with scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, cheddar cheese, oven-dried tomatoes, and chipotle aioli on a buttermilk biscuit. Located on the lower level of The Triangle, Tavern + Bowl opens on Sundays and every day at 11 a.m. For reservations or more information, call 949.438.2320.

Dining at La Vida Cantina is like being transported to a vacation along the Mexican Riviera.

The sun-drenched patio and oversized palapas encourage relaxing meals with family and friends. The brunch menu has an array of Mexican dishes such as Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Tostaditas, and Enchiladas con Huevos. There are also pan crepes and French baguette style French toast topped with warm berries and served with crispy jalapeno bacon.

To accompany your brunch, La Vida Cantina offers bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s for $9 with the purchase of an entrée, as well as its popular Sexymosa, a refreshing Champagne cocktail with peach Schnapps, St. Germain and fresh blackberries and strawberries. Located on the second level of The Triangle, La Vida Cantina can be reached at 949.612.2349.

Saddle Ranch Chop House has a large patio for dining any time after 9 a.m. on weekends. You can enjoy American breakfast classics such as Steak and Eggs, Omelettes, Pancakes and French Toast, along with signature items such as the Chicken Cilantro Omelette with grilled chicken, sautéed mushrooms, mixed cheese and cilantro, and topped with a chipotle hollandaise sauce. Saddle Ranch also offers a variety of bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s for $10.99 with the purchase of an entrée. Saddle Ranch is located on the upper level of The Triangle. For reservations or more information call 949.287.4652.

Yard House also has a cozy patio for dining, and you can watch your favorite NBA and MLB action on the TVs throughout the restaurant. If you saved room for a sweet treat, stop at Creamistry, on the lower level of The Triangle facing Newport Blvd.

The Triangle is conveniently located at the end of the 55 Freeway, where Newport Blvd., Harbor Blvd. and 19th Street intersect. The center offers seven levels of free parking, as well as a Valet and car wash on the first level near Tavern + Bowl. The center also has special offers and discounts to various restaurants on its website.
