The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach will celebrate the flavors, sights and sounds of Italy at the upcoming sixth annual Festa dell’Autunno on October 7-9. For the first time, the family-friendly Italian Street Festa will feature an al fresco children’s carnival located adjacent to the main event.
"Just as we do in my home town in Italy, Festa celebrates the abundance of the autumn harvest season with food, wine, music, art and entertainment,” said Pelican Hill Managing Director Giuseppe Lama. “Pelican Hill guests from far and near consider the Resort’s signature epicurean event an anticipated annual tradition not to miss in their autumn itinerary.”
This year’s Festa dell’Autunno weekend includes:
Italian Street Festa on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 2 to 8 p.m.
You can experience a harvest season celebration along the olive tree-lined Bungalow lanes, with Italian food and wine, live music and dancing, traditional art, a Mercato, Motori Italiani auto exhibits, bocce ball and traditional flag performances. Cost is $150 per adult (wine, tax and service included). Tickets here.
Carnevale dei Bambini on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 2 to 8 p.m.
Pelican Hill presents an al fresco children’s carnival on the Bungalow Lawn near Via Capri. While parents enjoy Italian Street Festa, Carnevale dei Bambini chaperones will supervise games, crafts and activities, as well as a special children’s menu. Children can participate in traditional Italian dancing, Venetian mask decorating, flag waving lessons and dressing up in classic Renaissance-style costumes for a Street Festa procession under the guidance of Italian flag performers! Cost is $100 per child ages 4-12. Tickets here.
Under the California Sun Jazz Brunch on Sunday, Oct. 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
From endless Prosecco mimosas to endless ocean views, Festa weekend concludes with a festive al fresco jazz brunch. Reservation options include early 9:30 a.m. seating and late 11:30 a.m. seating. Cost is $125 per adult, $50 per child ages 4-12 (Prosecco, tax and service included). Tickets here.
Menu a Quattro Mani at Andrea Ristorante on Friday, Oct. 7 & Saturday, Oct. 8 from 6 to 10 p.m.
