Reuse Jeans

Stop by the grand opening of Reuse Jeans flagship store in Laguna Beach through the entire Memorial Day weekend to take advantage of in-store specials including a buy one-get-one-free offer, a model casting call Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., and a live performance by VK Lynne on Sunday starting at 1 p.m.

Reuse Jeans are made of 80% recycled textiles, plus the prices are affordable, men's denim cost about $125, and women's cost about $95. And you can choose from jeans, jackets and vests for women, as well as a new men’s line.

Patchwork ShowOur favorite indie arts and crafts show in Orange County returns Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Santa Ana. This could very well be Patchwork Show's best festival ever, complete with skate ramp for kids and adults, famed O.C. food trucks, handmade jewelry, apparel, gardening demos, a bike valet, live music and DJ's powered by solar energy!

Grilling Season is Here!

At the crow bar and kitchen, James Beard nominated Executive Chef John Cuevas is cooking up flavorful, juicy burgers for brunch at 11 a.m. on Memorial Day. Choose from a hangover burger, a nitrate-free bacon, aged cheddar, fried organic hen’s egg ($12);  the grandma jane herbed cream cheese, sliced red onion, organic vine ripe tomato, onion sprouts on a toasted English muffin ($8); the classic, butter lettuce, organic vine ripe tomato, white onion, secret sauce on a caramelized onion bun ($8); the crow burger, tallegio and gorgonzola, house made ketchup, wild rocket on a rosemary bun ($8.50); or go all out with the ‘black label’ burger, 8 ounce signature blend includes 21 day, dry aged prime rib eye, with bone marrow butter, caramelized onions on a buttermilk bun ($19).

Childhood Peace

Tibetan LionEngage kids in the message of the Dalai Lama (who recently visited UC Irvine) through an art project at the Center for Living Peace Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon.
