Hendrix Dives into one-of-a-kind Ocean-to-Table Gems

Hendrix Restaurant & Bar’s new seasonal menu not only showcases the season’s most vibrant ingredients, but it also introduces exciting seafood dishes for guests to dive into. Executive Chef Rainer Schwarz’s ocean-to-table dishes, which have received much praise from critics and guests alike at his coastal restaurants, Driftwood Kitchen and The Deck on Laguna, now make their way inland as an addition to the Hendrix menu.

To complement the bright, fresh flavors of the season, the following are the one-of-a-kind, ocean-to-table gems to join the menu:

  • Alaskan King Crab Leg 1/2 lb house coleslaw jumbo asparagus | European drawn butter
  • Whole Fried Thai Snapper julienne vegetables & shishito peppers | ponzu sauce | bonito flakes
  • Whole Fried Texas Red (serves 3-5 guests and requires 48-hour notice) julienne vegetables & shishito peppers | ponzu sauce |  bonito flakes
  • Lobster Spaghetti Carbonara farm egg | pork guanciale | grated parmesan | tarragon
  • Oyster Rockefeller creamy kale | parmesan cheese | tobiko caviar

In addition to the new seafood options, seasonal produce, much of which is sourced from local and regional farms, takes center stage in a variety of salads and sides. To allow guests to eat for the season, Hendrix’s menu features an incredible selection of crisp summer salads, all of which can have rotisserie chicken, salmon or flat iron steak added:
Rotisserie Chicken and Poblano Pepper Soup| grilled yellow corn
Hendrix Chicken Salad | roti chicken | goat cheese | sweet 100’s tomatoes | avocadoes | dates | croutons | creamy pear dressing
Iceberg Wedge | Asian pears | gorgonzola | radish | buttermilk chive dressing
Caesar Salad crisp romaine leaves |crunchy croutons  classic caesar dressing | white anchovies
Harvest Salad | spinach | strawberries | feta | walnut vinaigrette

In addition to rotisserie favorites like the Prime Rib Dinner for Two and mouth-watering Roti Whole Chicken for the Table, Hendrix Meat Platter serves as a great Family Meal option for dine-in service or to take home. The dinner, which includes freshly roasted chicken, leg of lamb and prime rib (option to add porchetta) served with Weiser Farms “drip” potatoes and au jus, is a great option for those looking for a protein-packed meal and is priced per person at $28 (2-person minimum; +$6 for porchetta).

Hendrix’s full bar offerings are currently available for takeout, including a mix of signature drinks, beers, and wines by the bottle.

Hendrix is currently open Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. for patio dining, with Weekend Brunch service Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Happy Hour is offered daily from 4 to 6 p.m. More information, including menus, reservations, online ordering, and 3rd party delivery, can be found at hendrixoc.com.
