With six grand openings ahead, The CAMP is heading into 2026 with a full slate of new arrivals. Long known as a hub for culture, community, and creativity in Costa Mesa, The CAMP continues to grow with a thoughtful mix of dining, retail, and experiences that reflect the neighborhood’s independent spirit.
The year began with the reopening of Daydrift, unveiling a refreshed café space that is quickly becoming a go-to for coffee and matcha.
Opening soon, Chafinity Matcha will bring an authentic Japanese tea house experience to the heart of The CAMP. The concept focuses on high-quality matcha sourced directly from Japan, paired with house-made, plant-based milk alternatives, offering something not easily found at a typical café.
Also joining the mix is Purrs in Paradise, set to become Costa Mesa’s first cat café. Slated to open this spring, it will offer visitors a chance to relax and connect with adoptable cats in a welcoming space.
Another highly anticipated opening is 1954 Egashira Pan, a Japanese bakery concept from the creators of Kusukusu. Rooted in traditions and values dating back to 1954, the bakery emphasizes craftsmanship and intention in every item, with an opening date to be announced.
From Palm Springs to Orange County, Maleza is also on its way to The CAMP. Known for its Baja-inspired Mexican cuisine at Drift Palm Springs, Maleza brings a fresh, shareable take on familiar favorites.
Rounding out the upcoming openings is a new sushi concept preparing to make its Costa Mesa debut. Expect a menu focused on sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and more, adding another layer to The CAMP’s evolving dining scene.
As new small businesses continue to join the community, The CAMP keeps getting better. Opening dates will be announced soon. Visit The CAMP’s website and social accounts for the latest updates.
