Leading the Way

Give the girl in your life a chance to attend a one-week camp from July 23 to 27 at Sage Hill School in Newport Beach to develop leadership skills and pursue her personal best. Sage Hill and Girls Incorporated of Orange County have partnered to offer the unique camp for girls ages 10 to 14 that will address the pressures of adolescence, developing life skills, achieving academic success and future career options.

Tina Aldatz, president and founder of Foot Petals, a multi-million dollar brand, will be a guest speaker throughout the week and will meet individually with attendees.

The camp’s philosophy is based on “The Student Leadership Challenge”, an award-winning book by James M. Kouzes and Barry Z. Posner. Girls will be challenged to cultivate leadership and decision-making skills. They can be themselves, identify goals and values, boost their self-esteem and confidence, and develop positive relationships.

Sage Hill School is at 20402 Newport Coast Drive in Newport Beach. Cost is $180 for the week-long program.  To register, visit http://www.sagehillschool.org/summer or call 714.597.8600.
