Tonight Talega Village Center will host its Fourth Annual Clothing Party supporting registration for Hope 4 Hanna's flagship fundraiser -- The TRACE3 San Clemente 10k/5k and kid's 1/2k being held Sunday, Oct. 21. Stop by from 6 to 9 p.m. to help Talega Village Center raise awareness and funds for autism research and treatment. The event, held in the space next to the National Taekwondo Academy, will feature family fun such as live music by Matt Shockley, refreshments by Sundried Tomato Café, raffles and more.
Hope 4 Hanna was started in May 2008 by Justin Alderson, Kristen Alderson, Joshua Belden, and Lene` Belden. The inspiration for their vision is Johanna (“Hanna”) Belden, who was diagnosed in October 2006 with Autism Spectrum Disorder shortly after her second birthday. The mission of Hope 4 Hanna is to help create a less challenging road for families dealing with the disorder.

Members of The Aquabats and Festival of Children Foundation will be celebrating the 5th anniversary of National Child Awareness Month tonight at 5:30 p.m. at South Coast Plaza’s carousel with a fundraiser benefiting children’s charities. You can come out and support characters from the popular children’s television program the "Aquabats Super Show" as they raise money for five Orange County-based children’s charities including America On Track, Get Safe, Newport-Mesa Family YMCA, Thomas House Temporary Shelter, and Web Wise Kids. All monies raised will be donated directly to the participating children’s charities. At South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa at the Carousel.
