It’s the perfect day for all fashion, art and music enthusiasts: high fashion, live art, musical performances, skate demos, cocktails and cuisine Saturday from 3 to 9:30 p.m. for the third annual Rock the Runway at The Art Institute of California-OC in Santa Ana.

The catwalk will feature L.A. Models wearing couture designs from Maggie Barry, Sterling Capricio, Michael Costello and Dorsia Collection combined with fresh design visions of students competing for scholarships with avant-garde looks based on their favorite iconic designer.

Live music kicks off with performances by Danish pop duo The Raveonettes and local hype sensation BLOK. A skate park featuring pro-skate demos, and live and interactive art throughout the campus, including live painting by artist, Michael Kerschnar. And a KOGI BBQ truck will be providing complimentary tacos to the first 1,000 customers in line.

At the event, the school presents $700,000 worth of tuition scholarship awards to students for the upcoming quarter.
