Slater’s 50/50 Rolls Out New Menu

What restaurant can push the limits on the proper ratio of bacon to beef in a burger like no other? That would be Slater’s 50/50, the bacon mania eatery famous for its 50/50 patty made of 50% ground beef and 50% ground bacon. Some of its wild (and surprisingly good) burgers include Peanut Butter and Jellousy Burger made with creamy peanut butter, strawberry jelly and thick cut bacon; and its classic “The 50/50”  a signature patty topped with a sunny side up egg, avocado mash, pepper jack cheese and chipotle adobo mayo on white brioche. At Slater's 50/50 there's nothing they won't deep fry, slap bacon in, or toss some French Fries in for good measure. It also thinks nothing of serving a glazed donut burger for breakfast.

Slater’s 50/50 just rolled out more “please don’t tell us the calorie content” zingers, beer cocktails and even more bacon wonders. Now you can sip on a Pop Rocks milkshake, bite down on a chili cheeseburger filled with crunchy Fritos, or take your bacon cheeseburger as a salad---Americana nouveau eating at its best. Clearly the bacon laden menu, and its extensive selection of craft brews is a hit with diners who feast at its flagship Slater’s 50/50 in Anaheim Hills that opened in 2009, soon followed by Huntington Beach and Point Loma locations, and in December, its fourth restaurant opens in Pasadena.

While you can still order favorites like mountains of fried pickles, onion rings, sweet potato fries, French fries, fried bacon macaroni and cheese balls, you can also enjoy four new mac n’ cheese dishes (buffalo chicken, sun dried tomato and pesto, jalapeno bacon and baked potato) as well as a new Top Ramen salad, and a triple B’B’B’ Bacon Burger, a 50/50 patty with bacon American cheese, sunny side up egg, thick cut bacon and bacon island dressing on a bacon pretzel bun.

And not to leave out gluten-free diet followers, Slater’s 50/50 just came out with an entire menu of gluten free versions of Slater’s 50/50 burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and salads. For more information on Slater’s 50/50, visit http://www.slaters5050.com.
