Newport Beach Summer Garden Party at Sherman Library & Gardens

Sherman Library & Gardens' Volunteer Association is hosting a Summer Garden Party fundraiser on Saturday, August 26th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sherman Gardens' 2.2 acre botanical gardens in Corona del Mar. The event is sponsored in part by South Coast Plaza.

Guests at the Summer Garden Party can participate in a Garden Party Hat Contest, with prizes for various categories such as Best Garden-Themed Hat, Best DIY/Handmade Hat, Best Men's Hat, Best Children's Hat, and Most Outrageous Hat. Winners will be announced at 6:30 p.m. in the Central Garden after a "Hat Walk" throughout Sherman Gardens.

The Bouquet Bar offers a selection of blooms curated by Sherman's horticulture team. Guests can create their own personalized bouquet to take home.

Executive Chef Jessica Roy will prepare a Garden Party supper for attendees at 608 Dahlia.

The event will feature a Silent Auction & Raffle with unique gifts and experiences donated by members, local merchants, and restaurants.

Live music by 'David Aguiar and 'The Garden Party Players' will be performed in the Central Garden.

Tickets for the event are priced at $60 for Members and $80 for Non-Members. The proceeds will support education programs at Sherman Library & Gardens.
