National Pizza Day in OC!

You can never go wrong with a classic Margherita or pepperoni pizza, but for this National Pizza Day on Wednesday 2/9, why not try something different?

Chef Ross Pangilinan's Bone Marrow Pizza is one of the most popular items on the menu at his two SoCal restaurants, Remix in Long Beach and Terrace by Mix Mix in Costa Mesa. The Bone Marrow pie is blanketed with Mornay sauce, shallot marmalade, red wine jus, and of course, the centerpiece being the roasted bone marrow that diners can scoop onto each slice for a mouthwateringly decadent mix of tangy and rich flavors.

Santa Ana's Blinking Owl Distillery is now not only known for its award-winning craft spirits but also its chef-driven food, where the distillery's resident pizzaiolo Eddie Perez makes all of the pizza dough from scratch using organic California-grown rye grains, the same that is used in Blinking Owl's whiskeys! The Cacio e Pepe Bacon Pie features garlic creme, parmesan, black peppercorn, and thick-cut bacon for a savory & unctuous pizza with a wonderfully peppery bite. For a vegetarian option, the Heirloom Tomato Goat Cheese pie comes topped with heirloom tomatoes, local goat cheese, roasted garlic creme & little daubs of chimichurri for a flavorful meatless wonder.
