Try Using Tacks

Diamond Head Upholstery Tack

Laguna Beach-based Diamond Head Upholstery Tack is completely reinventing and raising the standard of common brass upholstery nails on furniture. Its tacks feature crystals or stones that add sparkle, dimension and shine to lounge chairs, dining chairs, headboards, sofas, chaise lounges and wall paneling.

At Diamond Head, creator Bree Cox offers upholstery nail heads made with a genuine crystal from the Czech Republic or glass cabochons. You can choose from 11 stones, in five sizes and three metal finishes for custom looks on all furniture.

Diamond Heads are also interchangeable, and can be switched out according to taste or season. Sold exclusively through the design trade, Diamond Heads are available through interior designers and select retailers such as Neiman Marcus Home. You can also find them at Harsey and Harsey at Laguna Design Center in Laguna Niguel; Kenneth McDonald at Red Hill Design Center in Costa Mesa; Bliss Linens in Corona del Mar; and Room Service at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
