Opening Day at San Diego's Del Mar Racetrack will be celebrated next week on Friday, July 22. The exhilarating event that marks the beginning of the world-class horse racing season!
Del Mar is the nation’s only seaside racetrack, promising amazing ocean views right from Grandstand! The famed seaside oval is just off of I5, a short drive from Orange County, and a great excuse to escape for the weekend! And with a lineup of phenomenal Opening Day activities, there’s no better time to visit:
Opening Day is bigger and better than ever, with world-class horse racing and fan-favorite events like the Hats Contest and return of Opening Day Party.
While the season is operating at 100 percent capacity for seating within the Grandstand, Opening Day will have a limited attendance to enhance the overall fan experience!
Patrons are invited to dress up in their best racing attire and don their fascinators and hats for the exciting affair.
Get your tickets soon - the event is expected to fully sell out! Visit dmtc.com for ticket options. General Admission is already sold out, but there are other ticket options available online at dmtc.com.
