Prego!
Consider celebrating Easter Sunday Italian-style at Canaletto Ristorante Veneto at Fashion Island. With the combined ambience, service, and great food, and well edited wine list, with plenty of varietals, Canaletto is the perfect place for a holiday meal.
They’re offering Easter Specials, as well as its regular menu available. (We highly recommend the tagliatelle alla Bolognese, swordfish carpaccio, and salumaria, as well as the $5 pizzas at happy hour, and you can’t go wrong with the dessert cart offerings.) Easter specials incluse zuppa di zucca, a roasted butternut squash soup with sage and Yukon gold potatoes and Asiago cheese crostino ($4.99 cup, $5.99 bowl); Pasta e Risotto, risotto ai gamberoni
carnaroli risotto with white shrimp, zucchini, sweet peas, lobster reduction; roasted prawn ($21.99).
And, don’t forget Caneletto has one of the best local happy hours offering $5 martinis, beers, wines, and appetizers.
Open 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Call 949.640.0900 At Fashion Island, 545 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach.
