You can experience and tour the spectacular designer showcase home, The Philharmonic House of Design in the exclusive oceanfront community of The Strand at Headlands in Dana Point from June 3 – June 29.
Nineteen acclaimed interior designers from across SoCal have spent months transforming the 7,500 sq. ft. home into a modern Mediterranean masterpiece with stunning panoramic views of the Pacific from nearly every room. Proceeds will benefit the Philharmonic Society’s nationally recognized Youth Music Education Programs.
As the primary annual fundraiser for the Philharmonic Society’s Youth Music Education Programs, the House of Design is a must attend event. The festive Premiere Night on Saturday, May 31, will feature the first showing of the House as well as food, cocktails and entertainment.
The House will be open for public tours Tuesday through Sunday, June 3 through June 29, 2014. The home includes an onsite café provided by Saltwater Catering and a boutique featuring clothing, jewelry and home accessories, as well as fabulous opportunity prizes.
Tickets cost $40 (general admission) and $50 (House Pass, unlimited entry). The 2014 Philharmonic House of Design is available to rent for corporate and private parties for a truly unique experience.
For information and updates, visit PhilharmonicSociety.org, or call the Philharmonic Society’s Huntington Harbour office at 714.840.7542.
Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.
Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays for “Meet the Designers."

Support the Center for Autism on Food Network
Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen, a cooking competition where chefs must be crafty, clever and willing to sabotage their opponents, is hosting an episode on Sunday, June 1 at 10 p.m. where previous judges are pitted against each other to win a charitable cash prize donated to the winning participant’s charity of choice.
You can tune in Sunday to cheer on Simon Majumdar, journalist and author of “Eat My Globe” and a regular on The Food Network who will be playing for the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders based in Orange County.
Simon chose The Center for Autism because the disorder is near and dear to his heart. His nephew has Autism and he knows how much work goes into the day-to-day of working to improve the lives of those living with the disorder.
He is grateful for The Center for Autism and the resources and support they are able to offer families, including his own.
