Segerstrom Center for the Arts Unveils Spectacular 2024-2025 Dance Series!

Segerstrom Center for the Arts is excited to announce an extraordinary lineup of performances for its 2024/2025 dance series. Featuring a diverse array of world-class artists and captivating productions, the Center continues its tradition of excellence, presenting unforgettable cultural experiences for audiences of all ages. This season is filled with boundless creativity and passion, reflecting the dance world where every movement tells a story and every beat ignites the soul.

For decades, Segerstrom Center for the Arts has been at the forefront of the West Coast dance scene. With a history of hosting internationally acclaimed dance companies, the Center has become a pivotal platform for groundbreaking and innovative dance performances. From classical ballet to contemporary dance, the Center’s programming showcases a deep appreciation for the art form, highlighting the diversity and creativity within the dance world.

The dance season opens with the fusion and athleticism of Complexions Contemporary Ballet on September 20, 2024, returning to the Center with a performance that pushes the boundaries of contemporary dance. Audiences will embark on a journey of passion and precision with Sergio Bernal Dance Company’s internationally acclaimed Spanish ensemble. The Center’s favorite holiday tradition returns with the magic and wonder of Tchaikovsky's timeless masterpiece, brought to life in American Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker.

The season continues with the groundbreaking work of the Martha Graham Dance Company, offering riveting performances that embody the essence of human emotion and expression. Audiences will be mesmerized by the innovative choreography and breathtaking energy of Alonzo King LINES Ballet, known for its unique blend of classical and contemporary techniques. The Center will honor a dance legend with Twyla Tharp’s 60th Anniversary, commemorating six decades of her extraordinary contributions to the world of dance.

Be among the first to witness Shakespeare’s enchanting tale of love and redemption in the U.S. premiere of American Ballet Theatre’s A Winter’s Tale. Celebrate the rich tapestry of Mexican culture with vibrant costumes, infectious rhythms, and captivating storytelling from Ballet Folklorico de Mexico. The series concludes with the timeless elegance and romance of Alexi Ratmansky’s Swan Lake, performed by the acclaimed Miami City Ballet.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts offers a variety of subscription packages to suit every dance enthusiast. Choose from fixed 3-show, 4-show, and 6-show packages, available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Nutcracker is available as a bonus option for this series.
