Barnes & Noble, Fluffy Fluffy and Prime Hot Pot coming to OC’s The District at Tustin Legacy

Exciting new additions are coming soon to The District at Tustin Legacy to enhance its mix of retail, entertainment, and dining venues. Stay tuned for even more options that will redefine your District experience and leave you eagerly anticipating each visit!

Barnes & Noble, America’s biggest chain bookstore that’s poised to make a national comeback with new expansion plans, just opened at The District near Whole Foods Market.

Also coming soon, all the way from Canada and the UK, will be California’s first location of Fluffy Fluffy, which is part of Fuwa Fuwa, North America's largest soufflé pancake and dessert café. Fluffy Fluffy specializes in Japanese-style soufflé pancakes that are a delicate balance between a soufflé and a traditional pancake: soft, bouncy, and light.

In addition to soufflé pancakes, Fluffy Fluffy will also serve classic brunch favorites. Fluffy Fluffy will be located next to Fast Hot Pot, across from Prego Restaurant.

“Our lineup of restaurants and shops continues to evolve and grow here at The District,” said marketing director Shannon Campbell. “We’re thrilled to welcome new tenants that appeal to our increasingly diverse communities.”

Three more dining and entertainment concepts are set to open in the 22,000 square-foot former Union Market Space: Shiki Shima Japanese BBQ; Pho N Mor, serving pho noodle soup and other Vietnamese cuisine; and V Show Party K, a karaoke lounge & bar.

The latest wave of anticipated openings joins a slew of other relatively new restaurants and concepts that have opened at The District, including the recently opened Thee Candle Lab, which offers an interactive candle-making experience in a retail setting with an ample assortment of luxury, vegan wax, and toxin-free candles. Customers can on a lab coat and choose from a large selection of glass vessels and upcycled wine bottles and then select from 30 house fragrances to take part in the candle-making process and create a one-of-a-kind custom candle.

Additionally, longtime tenant Ritz Nails will be expanding into a new, larger space near AMC Tustin 14. The new location will bring an elevated nail spa experience with the addition of private rooms to host group events such as bridal parties.

Plus, The District Tustin now offers its popular weekly Farmers Market on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., along with District Nights Sip & Stroll on the third Thursday of every month, featuring family activities, live music, local artisans, and the OC Tap Beer Truck.
