Savor the Flavor Week

Make plans to dine at your favorite Newport Beach restaurants for “Savor The Flavor” a week-long culinary celebration starting Friday through Thursday, Jan. 27. During Newport Beach Restaurant Week nearly 75 of the finest Newport Beach restaurants are serving up special three-course prix-fixe at $15 or $20 for lunch and $25 $35 or $45 for dinner.

And the more you dine out, the more you’ll be rewarded. When your bill comes you’ll receive a Bounce Back card worth 20% off food orders redeemable after Restaurant Week ends, Bounce Back cards are valid Jan. 28 through March 13. The discount cannot be combined with any other promotion and patrons will be asked to present their Newport Beach Restaurant Week “Bounce Back” card prior to ordering in the case of any special restriction that may apply. Tax, beverages, take out and gratuity will not be included.

Adding to the excitement of the newly renamed Segerstrom Center for the Arts is the world premiere of Reflections, a joint project with the Bolshoi Ballet, running Thursday through Sunday. It will star seven of the most renowned ballerinas trained at the Bolshoi and four of the company’s leading male dancers. Most of the evening’s costumes were designed by noted Russian designer Igor Chapurin, and the Bolshoi Ballet Orchestra will be performing. After the final performance Sunday, the entire company will go to Moscow for the Bolshoi premiere where many of the works will become part of the Bolshoi repertory.

At 7:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday; and 2 p.m. Sunday. Enjoy free preview lectures one hour prior to each performance. Tickets for Reflections start at $15 and are available now at Segerstrom Center for the Arts at the Center’s Box Office at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa or by calling 714.556.2787.
