Executive Chef Jeffrey Boullt Unveils Flavor-Packed New Dinner Menu at SOCIAL Kitchen + Craft Bar

SOCIAL Kitchen + Craft Bar in Costa Mesa has a fresh new dinner menu from Executive Chef Jeffrey Boullt, bringing bold, smoky flavors and elevated comfort food to the table. Known for his Southern influence and creative approach, Chef Boullt has put his signature spin on classic favorites with seasonal ingredients and unexpected twists.

The new menu is built for sharing, starting with hickory-smoked Sticky Ribs lacquered in a hoisin dynamite sauce, blending Kansas City BBQ with a Southern kick. The Fritto Misto is a crispy mix of calamari, shrimp, olives, and shishito peppers served with Meyer lemon aioli, while Brussels Sprouts get a rich, caramelized upgrade with Tasso ham, sweet potato, and hazelnuts.

Handhelds include the French Dip, stacked with shaved rib roast, horseradish cream, and melted Gruyère on a grilled roll, and the Drive-Thru Burger & Fries, featuring bacon jam, garlic aioli, and pickles on brioche. Entrées bring the comfort, from Chef Boullt’s Fried Chicken with his secret-recipe cornbread and coleslaw to the indulgent Prime Rib Dinner with creamed spinach and horseradish au jus. The Lasagna Bolognese layers beef, ricotta, and fresh basil for the ultimate cozy bite.

Tuesdays at SOCIAL mean tacos and tequila, with a rotating lineup of handcrafted tacos, including Wagyu Carne Asada with caramelized onion salsa, Baja Striped Bass with salsa macha and Meyer lemon slaw, and Smoked Carnitas with salsa verde and cotija. The Crunch Wrap features short rib barbacoa and lime crema, while the Mexican Pizza is topped with seasoned beef, ranchero sauce, and black olives. All cocktails, beer, and wine are half-off, making it the perfect midweek stop.

SOCIAL’s cocktail program, led by Gabrielle Dion, is as strong as ever, with expertly crafted drinks like the Sgroppino—a mix of Prosecco, bergamot liqueur, and lemon sorbet with basil blossoms—and the frozen Don’t Fear the Repo, a bold blend of reposado tequila, spiced pear, Ancho Reyes, and lime.
